- Since its inception in 1998, Evergreen Center has envisioned a place where committed Christians, especially those interested or involved in ministry, could come for extended periods of time to develop a deeper relationship with the Lord, receive training for ministry, attend spiritual retreats, and participate in intercessory prayer.

- With the purchase of 105 acres in rural Wisconsin in 2006, Evergreen Center has taken a giant step forward towards the fulfillment of this vision. Gradually we're beautifying the grounds and remodeling the existing building to accommodate guests, house the school, and create an environment where it is easier to draw near to Jesus.

About Us

A PLACE TO BE WITH JESUS: In these hectic, uncertain, and often frenzied days, Christians long for a place to draw near to Jesus, where He can impart to them His peace.

Evergreen Center offers a unique place and way to do that, by providing not only a beautiful natural setting, but also a spiritual environment with leaders whose training and background have prepared them to help fellow Jesus-seekers find the place of rest in Him that their souls crave.

The Site
Evergreen Center's property includes 105 acres of wooded and semi-wooded land, with a lake at the west end. There is plenty of space to take a walk or find a quiet place to pray. The new property has already proved ideal for holding retreats, though until the second phase of remodeling is completed, the number of guests rooms is limited. Our goal is a complete Retreat and Ministry Center under one roof, with additional prayer cabins. At present there is plenty of room for guests wanting to join us for morning prayers and to share the noon meal together.



Ministry School

Evergreen Center also offers opportunities for young people interested in future ministry at home or abroad to come for extended periods for spiritual and practical training. This preparation focuses on the "how-to" of a daily time in the Word of God and prayer, with additional emphasis on discipline, character development, and living in the power and anointing of the mercy of God. Instruction is offered by experienced pastors, missionaries, and registered nurses.
